Good day. Today I decided to write about a rather unusual and very rare car that has been owned by my father for about 15 years. We are talking about the 604 Peugeot with a petrol engine V6 2.7 liter mono injector with a manual five-speed gearbox. The history of this car began in 1981 and it was purchased in Austria, where it successfully left for 15 years, after which my father’s brother bought it in good condition in 1996. I can only imagine the faces of the owners of Beh and Mercy, who were easily overtaken by the old Peugeot at a speed of 140 km / h). That period was the beginning of the decline of this car. The brakes in the car, except for the absence of ABS, are no different from the brakes of a new foreign car. I can’t say much about repairs, I only remember that from time to time her father scammed her with spare parts from other cars, since there are practically no original ones, but she always went, except for a couple of cases,
when the fuel pump went out. And yet, oddly enough for Peugeot, a car that is 31 years old and the last 15 years located on the territory of Ukraine, without proper maintenance and spare parts, is still on the move and is able to overtake many new cars, is this not an indicator of the reliability of this models? In the future, I may buy myself the same 604 in good original condition from Germany or France, because restoring my father’s car is already almost unrealistic and not economically feasible. In conclusion, I’ll say that this is a great car for the weekend, and besides, it’s so rare that I haven’t seen a single other instance in my life, even on the avtomarket, so far my review will be the only one, but if someone has that is, now or there was such a machine before, I would be very glad to read something about it or see photos.
